We hold our values high and choose our suppliers and retailers, who care about the same things as we do: local and small production, keeping a minimal ecological footprint, sustainability and using materials that are of the highest quality. With these trainers, we have eliminated the traditional shoe box – and so, we use less paper. A washable shoe bag is an alternative.
LEATHER
The leather details of the sneakers are from vegetable-tanned leather originating from European farms and processed in Italy. It is a naturally dyed full-grain leather with a smaller ecological footprint than regular leather.
TEXTILE
The textile used is water-repellent. The textile is produced in Spain using 50% solar energy.
Canvas: 70% cotton, 30% polyester. Inner lining: 100% recycled P.E.T.
INSOLE
The insole material is a textile made containing silver fiber thread with very good antibacterial properties. This prevents the growth of bacteria that cause unpleasant odours in the shoes. The arch support also adds comfort and support to the foot.
SOLE
The soles are made of 100% natural latex rubber – the milk of Hevea tree. It is harvested in Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam, then shipped to France, where LACTAE HEVEA® crafts the end product – our soles.
